Anarchist Bookfair Recap & Support Group announcement!

ViviLnk

The 2026 Austin, Tx Anarchist Bookfair was a sweaty and joyful time to connect with comrades around the Central Texas area and local Austinites alike. Many thanks to the organizers from @monkeywrenchatx and @autonomyaustin and all of the tabling comrades—it was such a great crew! The comrades from the DFW Support Committee were there, Space City Anarchists, our local IWW chapter, and some Reproductive Justice zinesters too! Big love as well to @barrettstoo for being great hosts and taking amazing care of us! 🖤 While SxHx didn’t hit our mutual aid fundraising goal for this event, we met dozens of people and got to share about our work and zines and connect with fellow organizers around abortion and hormone access, distributed harm reduction supplies, talked safety strategies while working, and defense campaign support/building!

A lot of people asked us how to get involved, THANK YOU! While we’re still a closed collective (meaning not actively recruiting at this time), there are absolutely ways to support our work, and the movement to destigmatize and decriminalize the sex trades.

Here are a few action moves we suggest:

Chicago, IL & Virtual:

As we mentioned in our last blog post, one of our comrades, Kaia, is launching a peer support group along with other trusted collaborators. They are planning a series of community Jitsi calls to support sex workers and our co-conspirators who are struggling with processing / coping in the wake of the “Epstein Files” atrocities, and news surrounding them. (Jitsi is an end-to-end encrypted video call platform that is free to use.)

The first call will be on Wednesday, April 1st at 6 PM CT.

You must register for the call here, before Wednesday.

Remember dear one, you are not alone.

Where can you find us tabling next?

We’ll be tabling at Gender Unbound’s 2026 Trans Day of Visibility Picnic and Art Market on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 PM  – 5:00 PM at Grassroots Leadership (7910 Cameron Road)!

We’ll have our full line of zines, books, homebrew ‘mones, and harm reduction supplies! Help us replenish our mutual aid funds! The more zines we sell, the more money we can move to our sex working community members in need. We also heard that their latest Pink Pages directory will be ready for distro! You don’t want to miss out on getting a physical copy of all things TRANS locally!
